I've been more or less practicing some basic action script lately, and thought it would be neat to release a standalone application on any Wings fans PC to get all the latest gameday information from just a double click on their desktop. The entire application lives off of XML feeds, from what teams are playing to injuries or stats. I'm not sure if I'll ever go through with it, but I just thought I'd share what I had in mind.

For the final I would imagine to include:
- Notes
- Injuries
- Goaltender Profiles
- Projected Lineups
- Team Leaders
- Division & Conference Standings (with things like magic #)
- Multimedia links via Extras section.

I know I'm a bit crazy

that'd be a nice app but it seems pretty ambitious, then again I'm not really that familiar with how hard it'd be to program something like that

Could you do a minor leauge part too. I mean we will have guys up and down. Could do something like next game and last 5. Who's hot who's not. Just as much as you want to put into it. Looks great.

If you could make it customizable for any team you could probably sell it to NHL.com or something
