omnipotent_hudler 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 ...yep, everyting about China is fake, even their female gymnists are fake, they are too young to compete, but who's gonna make waves when the games are in China? Duh! Oh, BTW, not that I am supporting McCain, but Huds, the guy in you Avatar is not gonna make a differene either, he only make this country worse (as will McCain) but it doesn't matter becuase 2012 is approaching and it has been written, so this is the path we must all follow! ...back to subject. We must support China so when we attack Russia, they will help us! idgi, are you being serious or are you stoned you sound stoned
omnipotent_hudler 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 China is so fake. Nothing legit comes from their, NOTHING! They even have their own fake disneyland, no joke! what is real, ironically, is the money we owe them

Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted August 22, 2008 (edited) China is so fake. Nothing legit comes from their, NOTHING! They even have their own fake disneyland, no joke! I'm guessing that this amusement park was created on the same land that Disney originally planned to use in Beijing. They even got as far as building the steel stucture for the castle before abandoning the project and moving to Shanghai. It was a major eye sore, and right next to one of the major freeways in the area. I have pictures from a bus of the park, but I'm being too lazy to look em up. My guess is China finished it for the games so it didn't make the town look as crappy as it did when I was there. Izzy24 44 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 Ahhh, Cream-of-sum-yung-guy numba foetee we make you love zets long time. Seriously, the whole country makes a living from faking everything from tv to brake shoes. I have almost zero respect for China. The respect I do have is from taking Tai Chi. China=wannabe USA Seriously, they have a brewery called China Blue Ribbon. Wow, you're a racist too? You just keep getting better Inny!
Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted August 22, 2008 Ohh... and to keep on topic, unlike my last post... I would never purchase anything from china online, simply for the reason that they BARGAIN for EVERYTHING... it's expected... most shops have prices 10x what they expect to get. It's sorta fun not knowing mandarin and trying to bargain using a calculator. As to the replicas being so cheap... most reputable designers know the design of an item to the exact stitch count. When they go to make a replica all that sort of stuff goes out the window, and you end up with whatever they can make cheap that sorta looks like the original. Izzy24 44 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 I make a point to not purchase anything mfg in china, nor do I shop at walmart and people that do should not complain about low wages or the declining job market. Do you pay federal taxes? Do you know where that money goes?

sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 There was a really good video that cbc put out about illegall sportwear from china. I WAS PWNED BY THAT!!! haha OsGod, you are correct in being skeptical that one would recieve anything at all for 22 bucks. its a valid pt. i guess i was just saying that if you did receive some sort of wings jersey, 22 would be a good deal even if its a POS. Note: i once purchased a CCM close to authentic Feds jersey on ebay. Sewn on letters/#'s and logos (including NHL shield and tiny winged wheel at bottom of the back) and fight strap. I got it shipped to my door for $13.90. FOURTEEN BUCKS. i opened it and couldn't believe it. it was legit. some times good things aren't quite too good to be true... NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 Sorry if this has already been posted (I don't have 30 minutes to search the forums for old topics, I'd give you a tissue if I had one...) http://www.lightinthebox.com/Detroit-Red-W...09-_p26440.html I tried to figure out what the shipping would cost, but you have to register with their site before seeing those fees. I didn't want to... Although it does look like their site is well designed and managed, I'm a bit standoffish on this one. Is that an abnormally sized winged-wheel I see? Where is the RBK patch on the bottom front? Is this an authentic (not a replica) jersey? I'm not gonna hold my breath. But if one of you want to give it a try, order one and let us know if we should do the same. Looks like #40 is the only option, not bad... but will the name Zetterberg accompany that #40? Notice under the 'Feature' section: This replica jersey is a must have for any Red Wings fan!

OsGOD 3 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 Just an FYI... china is on many lists for fraudulent buyers and sellers.... on Ebay as well as many other online selling/buying sites... they are always flagged as being a possible scam. This one... screams SCAM 100% but like they say... Buyer beware I have an authentic water bottle that zeta took his last sip out of on the bench before lifting the cup.... Wanna buy it? send me $50 USD to my paypal account
Yzermania 156 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 The jersey is made in china one way or another, right? Perhaps these are the ones they make after hours that the NHL gets no royalties from. Not impressed with the RBK jerseys here either. I paid $180 for my replica, the Captain's "C" plus number on the back have a rubbery feel (They are heat pressed) and the white number's on the red arm sleve feel a bit more like fabric. Either way, it looks pretty cheap but damn it, it's almost $200! I swear the Starter one I have was a replica back in the days and it looks 100% better and the feel is much better. I am not dropping $320 on an authentic jersey, that's just plain robbery. On a side note, my 100% authentic NFL jersey cost me $175...how come NHL jersey's are so much more expensive?? I'm assuming you ordered from nhl.com? I have a new Reebok replica that I got Franzen on the back of with the cup patch and all. It's from sportsk.com and everything is sewn on(very well i might add) and of great quality.

Any store around here has them fully stitched on (sportsk is the bomb as well as fanaticU) now the trick it so to not get them with the ugly looking name plate on the back... I can't order online becuase i want to be 100% sure there is no nameplate on the jerseys that don't have them on them (aka detroit)

Don't use your real credit card. If its a scam you don't want them to have any of your information. Use one of those visa gift cards, that way the maximum that anyone could take from you is how much you put on. It's alot safer! (oh and make sure to get the one that can be used internationally )

(oh and make sure to get the one that can be used internationally ) i used pay pal. Additionally the shipping is about 15 dollars. so it's a wings jersey for 37. they also have a hertiage classic crosby jersey with the C and his name and number for the same price. Same i'd only use for it toilet paper, but those jersey are like what? 200+ If this is legit i might tell my friend the penguin fan about it.
tiff_luvs_homer 5 Report post Posted August 23, 2008 they're fake... trust me. I've bought a fake or two and while some of them are good fakes, they're still fake. Save your money and buy a jersey from NHL.com or sportsk.com
theman19 47 Report post Posted August 23, 2008 eh, fake or no fake it's still a good deal to me. I could never afford the 100+ dollar authentic sewn on guys so for a little shy of 40 if it's good it's good.
tiff_luvs_homer 5 Report post Posted August 24, 2008 I paid almost $300 for my avalanche Edge jersey at Pepsi Center, that's with my store discount for being a Mammoth Lacrosse season ticket holder. The jersey was expensive, but it's worth it to me to spend the money and know you're getting an authentic Reebok jersey.
