dobbles 252 Report post Posted August 26, 2008 I'm sick and tired of the lions not getting the respect and credit they deserve. Its not easy not winning a championship for 50 years. It takes a lot of effort. You've got to be disciplined to be that mediocore. Lets face it, even the Bears screwed up and had a great season in 84. Yeah yeah, everyone braggs about the WIngs and their namby pamby 17 consecutive years of playoffs. Hay, we're talking 50 years her! Most of you kids weren't even a sparkle in mom's eye the last time the Lions won a championship. The Ford family should be commended for their unwavering committment to mediocrity. I say 7 wins. you have no idea what its like to be a cubs fan!!! we will soon be nearing the point where no one is even alive from the last time they won the world series!!!! The Wings will earn 112 points and either the #1 or #2 overall seed in the NHL..... The Tigers will finish this year 83-79 but next year will sign Ben Sheets and a top notch closer and win the 2009 World Series. The Pistons will lose the division title for the 1st time in 5 years to The Cavaliers and get knocked out in the 2nd round of the playoffs. 2008 World Series Cubs beat the Rays in 6 games 2008 Super Bowl Patriots beat the Cowboys 21-17 2008/09 NBA Finals L.A. beats Cleveland in 4 games 2008/09 Stanley Cup Wings beat Montreal in 7 games Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
