55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) Just finished watching it now. I watched the late feed, so I got a couple of things spoiled for me (my own fault). puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 19, 2009 Just finished watching it now. I watched the late feed, so I got a couple of things spoiled for me (my own fault). The person below me cried when they saw Vladdie tonight at the awards. I boo-hoo'd, as I usually do when I see him. I can't help but remember what a force he was, and what a brave man is still is. He touches so many people in ways he might never understand. Love ya, Vladdie!! The person below me thinks Perfect Nick should have won the Norris again, and that Chara gets the renamed "We're Tired of Lidstrom Winning This All the Time so We're Giving it to Chara" Trophy. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 19, 2009 Actually, I wasn't surprised. Chara was great all season, but Nick struggled early on and had elbow problems that kept him from being 100%. Given that they're looking at the whole season, I can see where Chara won. This is, of course, taking nothing away from Nick. He's still the man. The person below me has had a horse. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 The person below me has had a horse. Just a charley-horse. I think I've ridden a horse twice in my life. It wasn't my cuppa java. The person below me had had their picture taken with the Stanley Cup.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 (edited) Yes I have. TPBM loves thunderstorms. Edited June 20, 2009 by WizardOfOz30
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 I do love thunderstorms. Sadly, they are very rare here, as we are in a three year and counting drought. I miss rain. The person below me likes to start their day with a little TPBM and LGW visit.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 Start, finish, in between- whenever I'm near my computer, it's LGW time. The person below me hates doing laundry more than other household chores.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 I'd much rather do laundry than clean bathrooms. I have to do both, but laundry's less onerous. Bathrooms seem to always want attention. Blah. The person below me has driven faster than 100 MPH before.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 Not me! I'm a bit on the sane side when I'm behind the wheel. The person below me has received condolences on the loss of the Cup from fans of other teams.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 The person below me has received condolences on the loss of the Cup from fans of other teams. nope, just jeers from Dallas fans. Like they have any basis for that -- they will never win another one. The only one they have is tainted... TPBM is friends with someone famous.

Hack & Whack Rule! 160 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 It's true, I do hate wearing nylons. My wife hates it when I wear nylons, too. The person below thinks that was probably a creepy answer.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Not at all. I hate it when your wife sees you in my nylons. The person below me hates wearing socks. (How's that for more gender neutral?)
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Not at all. I hate it when your wife sees you in my nylons. The person below me hates wearing socks. (How's that for more gender neutral?) Don't hate 'em, but don't love them like some people who collect them and think they're cute or something. You will only find me in socks when I am at the gym (which is every day) and I have to wear them. Plain white sports anklets, bought by the bag so they all match. Flip flops or sandals at least 11 months out of the year here. The person below me remembers the name of the first record/album they purchased as a kid. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 No, I worked the graveyard and then went straight to church so I could practice since I had to play this morning. I almost overslept during the sermon though. The person below me a clock in every room of their house- and none say the same time.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 22, 2009 I don't know Joe, and I don't have Jack. In fact, I got my sister a birthday card with a really hot hunk on the front and it says, "This is Jack. As usual, for your birthday, I didn't get you Jack." I thought of our own hottie named Jack when I bought it, but since this is the sister that isn't into hockey and doesn't occasionally visit this site, she won't think that.
