Rivalred 630 Report post Posted March 7, 2009 (edited) sometimes. it depends on what i'm wearing w/them. tpbm has turned down wings tickets before. Yes... I have turned down wings tickets due to school or working.... Another time due to being in a non-weight bearing cast. [and for some reason the some of the last few TPBM seem vaguely familiar] {see avatar} The person below me does not like the weather when it is cold and rainy... 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 8, 2009 I can handle cold and rainy unless it's that freezing rain stuff. Then I don't like it at all. The person below me always finishes their meal because they've been raised that way and gets annoyed at themselves for eating until they're too full.

I usually divide portions in half at a restaurant (Chinese especially) and box it up before I eat. Two meals!! I never finish stuff I don't like, in particular. I have great control over what I choose to eat, but it's been a lifelong journey to get there. On the other hand, I cannot have certain foods in my house, or I will eat every bit of whatever. That annoys me because it's self-destructive, yet I will do it anyway. Ice cream, gourmet jelly beans, and Doritos (spicy nacho) do not come through my door for that reason. Ever. No control over their seductive lure. TPBM has similar tendencies toward food, and cannot control themselves with certain items. * I don't eat one Girl Scout thin mint cookie. I do "lines" of them... like cocaine, only yummie. Oy. Edited March 8, 2009 by puckloo39

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 8, 2009 I tend not to eat all day Loo and then gorge myself when I get home... It does not matter what food it is - I raid the fridge like you would not believe... {see avatar} The person below me can not wait for Spring I did that today. I forgot to eat, ran errands and did all the chores, even went to the gym and did a killer workout -- and then realized about 6:00PM, I'd never stopped to eat today. So bad. I didn't eat the fridge, but I did munch on roast chicken at 10:00PM. Too late to eat, but better than starving, I guess. TPBM believes that horoscope signs really do indicate something about a person.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted March 8, 2009 Not really, I've never paid attention to my horiscope. Maybe I should try. The person below me thinks that Terry Tate kicks a**, or does after watching this video.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 mmm... OK, I guess he kicks ass. TPBM giggles when they say the phrase "conch blowing"... Conks doesn't blow. I think he's been really good this season. Conch blowing
ChelisChick 174 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 I'll admit, the juvenile in me laughed at that.... TPBM has peed in their pants from sneezing really hard. Yeah, I'm in that kind of mood.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 JUSY YOU WAIT YOUNG LADY! It'll happen to you when you get old. Cough, sneeze, laugh, puke, hiccup real hard...yeah, it's part of getting old if you're female. The guys can't pee and we can't stop. The person below me has sat down and tried to crunch the numbers to get back all of the players they want next year and failed.

ChelisChick 174 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 Yes I have. Especially right now with the Mr. gone. TPBM has a mooch for a bro-in-law
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 I have no in-laws. When I did have one, he wasn't a mooch. He had other issues, but not moochiness. The person below me is hunkered down in a blizzard.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 Thank goodness I'm not in a blizzard. Sorry you still have to deal with that. I am however wrapped in a blanket because the house is so darn cold! The person below me loves when the house is peaceful and quiet.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 The only time the house isn't peaceful and quiet is when I make it noisy. So mostly, it's quiet. I do like it that way. Oh, and the blizzard thing? I get to be home for the game tonight! It's a good thing until I have to shovel out tomorrow. The person below me plants a garden.

I get to be home for the game tonight! It's a good thing until I have to shovel out tomorrow. The person below me plants a garden. Not vegies (anymore), since it's too hot here to raise them decently. My garden in Iowa was gorgeous. Now I "farm" antique roses, which don't mind the heat and drought so much. TPBM prefers cream cheese on their bagel over butter.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 11, 2009 Never tried it. Cream cheese, yes, but not cottage cheese. Not sure if I'd like it. I'm a butter person myself (actually, oleo, but whatever). The person below me sings to their pet. (Nik loves the Danny Cleary song.)
DaKineMaui 8 Report post Posted March 11, 2009 The person below me sings to their pet. (Nik loves the Danny Cleary song.) My last 2 hounds had theme songs I made up. I'd sing 'em, and then it was *thump* *thump* *thump*.....wags of their tails hitting the couch. TPBM "walked in" on their own parents before?

TPBM "walked in" on their own parents before? oh, good God, no. My parents were older when they had me (daddy was 50 when I was born, mom was 41). That fact alone makes them basically insane, IMO. Anyway, they were too old and tired to "do it" by the time I figured out what "it" was, I think. TPBM likes cool, rainy days.
