Only a few general words, I was a retail manager for a while and a regular customer was deaf and taught me a few things to help our communication with each other.

(I also send my best wishes to Vokounonfortst's friend/family member during this difficult time)

The person below me has been to the theater this month.

The person below me is frugal.

I am so frugal that the last three movies I have seen in the theatre have been Star Wars III, Star Wars II, and the Lion King.

Of course, when I splurge, I splurge!

I can't say I am concerned.  I do not care for the Lions

I did do some writing today, but it was more the intellectual sort than the creative.

I think I used up my creativity during my post-game nap yesterday.  I dreamed that a troupe of Shakespearean actors wanted to branch out so they became porn stars but still used Elizabethan English.  Shakespeare was kind of a raunchy comic for his time, so it fit.  They were doing a play/movie (hard to tell in a dream) about a Roman soldier who is wounded and unable to fight so he's forced to become a dentist despite his dream of becoming a pastry chef.  It was Airplane!-like humour in Shakespearean language except during the sex scenes when they often broke into song and chorus-line dance Broadway style.  I was cheesed when my alarm went off.  I never got to see how it ended.

The person below me bought a Megamillion ticket in the last week.

Not likely, i'm not a huge football fan but I find myself watching a lot of Falcons/Titans because of geography. Neither are Denver, Seattle, or Kansas City.

The person below me wants to buy an Islanders jersey just to burn it.

Hope so!  If someone streams the alumni games, I'll watch them, and the WC is on NBC.

As if millions of voices suddenly cried out, "Doesn't this ***** know how to play the game?" and were suddenly placated by your post.

<feels shame>

Not unless it's bad for me and I'm looking for an excuse to buy more.

The person below me was raised saying, "I have a temperature" rather than "I have a fever" and didn't realize how dumb it sounded until it was ingrained.
