HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 Wow, I would ask for a new one or something. No way I would pay that much for a shirt like that.

NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I would absolutely let them know about it. I'm sure they'd hook you up with the correct one at no cost and probably let you keep that one.
ultrapail 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 The NHL store sucks. I bought a Datsyuk jersey a few years ago and when I got it, it read "DATYSUK". I was pissed and send it back, another 6 weeks later, I got the right one in the mail.
Wings_Rule_1010 4 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 (edited) Last year I bought a Cleary jersey from the NHL Shop and when I received it the stitching was done horribly for both the numbers and his name. I eventually got it refunded, but that was after calling customer service, than talking to some manager and then having him get the return approved. It was a mess and it was all their fault that the jersey was made so poorly. It tooks weeks before I got my money back. Guest mindfly Report post Posted October 23, 2008 What's wrong with that, his real number is 18 he just had to choose another due to "veteran" maltby..he use 18 in the national team as well, no biggie.
henrik40 76 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 What's wrong with that is the fact that he wears #81 for the Wings. When you pay $20-$25 and shipping for a product, you expect to receive the correct product.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted October 23, 2008 Well it's just a number, his name is there and its a red tshirt that's what counts =) maybe you guys are bitter or something
henrik40 76 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I see what you are saying, but you expect to get the product you pay for it's as simple as that.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted October 23, 2008 (edited) That would be a nice world, but there will always be errors, and I doubt it's worth the effort to send it back, wait for a few weeks and maaaaybe get the correct one... for two numbers. And those errors should be taken care of by the business that caused them. That's how the business world works.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 And those errors should be taken care of by the business that caused them. That's how the business world works. Or at least should work. Especially when the shirt came from the NHL store. If someone was going to get it right you'd hope it would be them.

amberlynn25 9 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I got one of those off Ebay...I was pissed. sent it back and got my money back for it. the guy tried to tell me that he changed his number to 18. I told him i wasnt stupid.
redwing_sparty 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2008 thats terrible. they probably rushed to print them as soon as hossa signed and totally forgot that maltby wears 18 ( he's not the most notable hockey player in the league). way to go nhl! thats like ordering a dvd and getting sent the vhs version...u still got the movie right? incredible. Que? So by that logic a Red Wings Yzerman jersey with the number 91 is just as good. This is from the OFFICIAL NHL SHOP, and they bungled it. And plenty of other things, too. I haven't ordered a single thing from them, my site of choice is river city sports. There are many others that do far better work on jerseys and the screwup ratio is far less.
