edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 Yeah, I heard that on XM Face Off yesterday. Good for him. Had to swallow his pride to do that, but if he wants to play, that's what has to be done.
russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I've always been a fan of Parrish. I hope that he plays a solid 10-15 games down there and gets signed on by the Isles.
Uncle Danny 155 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I'm admittedly behind the curve here. Why did he get bought out? His stats hadn't fallen off tooo drastically, from what I can see. Was he vastly overpaid? Or a lockeroom jerk or something? I liked him quite a bit while he was with the Isles.
P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I've understood that Wild's coach didn't like him and they were too close to the salary cap. They signed Owen Nolan and Antti Miettinen and perhaps also had to resign someone with a salary raise. If i remember right it was Bouchard. What I don't get is why no team picked Parrish up after he was kicked from Wild. There might be something else that I don't know.
