well, I am really asking for it around here by playing this game, huh? I stand by my choice, damn the slings and arrows. wink.gif

I rate the avatar above me 9.999 because it is as creative as its owner. You've had better ones, Jack, but not by much. Always entertaining!! thumbup.gif

I say any avatar with a Red Wing holding the Stanley Cup is a beautiful thing! Oh, I forgot, 10 out of 10!

Wings logo...above reproach. Always a good choice.

BTW Hillbillywingsfans' avataris the "blue screen of death" supplied by micros***. The one pounding the screen is Data from Star Trek:Next Generation, I think.

Thats a sweet looking Wings logo - whats it made from? I can also see letsgowings.com on the computer screen in the background with the article about Yzerman's last game. The picture is him stepping off the ice in Edmonton after game 6 in 06. I was there!
Cool Avatar.

Cool Avatar.

Thanks. There's a story behind this Winged Wheel.....
A friend of mine works at one of the big 3 (don't wanna get too specific) and knows the guy that was making these. It is a stainless steel logo, kind of a brushed surface front and back, and on all the thin edges it's red paint. The base is a round piece of solid steel painted back like a puck. That's a 17" monitor behind it so you get an idea of how tall it is. I got really lucky the day I took the pic. To tell you the truth I didn't pay any attention to the screen. I was too wrapped up in trying to figure my new camera out and getting it posted. From what I understand, there were less than 20 made before the "copywrite issue" came up and he had to stop making them.

Nueve y media.

I have the bad habit of imagining people as looking like their avatars (I've already apologized to Naranja) so I imagine DaKineMaui looking like that...that...whatever it is. That's why I was a half-point short of giving it full marks- I always get distracted wondering what the heck it is, which makes it quite suited to its owner tounge.gif

You've already been rated, so I must rate the one before you....

Ah, 'tis Kronner... no touching up or alterations of any sort are needed. (however, might be fun!) I say 9...

this one gets 10 out of 10 for being so creative and original (how many people would think of carving a winged wheel in theirs for halloween?) and also for showing the talent of the carver (a winged wheel logo is not an easy thing to draw let alone carve).

so,......10 out of 10.

Solid 9, but only because it's seasonal. You're so creative, let's see a "classic" avatar.

Or you could go for holiday Wings theme. No turkeys, please. Maybe a Huddie Santa? or Saint Niklas (Kronwall)? biggrin.gif

You get a 10. I'm in love with Maria Sharapova.

I don't see how Liz can get anything but a 10, so the poster below me better rate it accordingly.
