Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 Well done to the Griffs with the win in Iowa last night. Having lost 4 in a row it was important for Curt to get the lads back in winning ways before a trend set in. One thing I did notice thou, is Big Rig injured or was he just a healthy scratch for the game? I know that Curt is rotating his D corps but Ericsson had been an ever present if im not mistaken. GROwl 5 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 I was listening to the game on the radio while working out last night. Bob Kaser said that Ericsson had an upset stomach...kind of flu-like...and was getting a much deserved break.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 Was certainly a much needed victory. Good to see McGrath contribute with 3 points (G, 2A) and he really should be playing every night. He's out of contract at seasons end so you know he'll be hungry, and he's going at a pretty good scoring pace. Good to see Abdelkader with the feed to set up the GWG; hopefully that gets him going again. Leino is scoreless in 10+ games, that's a bit of a concern. And Helm's point streak came to an end. sjradio 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 I don't see it as a "back on track" We blew another late lead and had to go to OT. It's an all to familiar pattern with the team lately.
