The B's know the Wings are doing a back to back and are out to physically tire them. Passing up on most checks like I'm seeing most players do is only going to reinforce the fact that most teams know they can beat up on this one. If they're winning, they're winning.....it means they're doing something right. I mean, Wings get criticized all the time for playing "boring" hockey, and thats just as bad.
