kevotron 3 Report post Posted December 10, 2008 OK I am just curious to know if anybody remembers from the late 80's channel 9 sports reporter Marty Adler and this goofy clip he would always play called Chabot Sh-boom, werein John Chabot and I think maybe it was Adam Graves, Gerard Gallant, and somebody else Shawn Burr??) were all shown in the Wings locker room shower --from the waist up-- kind of dancing and singing their version of the the 50's song "Sh-boom, Sh-boom." "Chabot Sh-boom, yada da yada da yada da yada da, Chabot Sh-boom" etc etc I know I am going to take all kinds of grief for this post, but what the heck, it was so bizarre I wanted to make sure it wasnt all the drugs and my imagination. 1 LeftWinger reacted to this
up2here 41 Report post Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) Was that around the time that Stevie was injured and Chabot and Adam Oates were awesome? Edited December 10, 2008 by UP2HERE
kevotron 3 Report post Posted December 10, 2008 Was that the series that Stevie was injured and Chabot and Adam Oates were awesome? It might have been during that playoff run. 87-88 I think. John Chabot was a pretty good center, that guy had some of the craziest moves.
scotzman 29 Report post Posted December 11, 2008 (edited) I remember it vividly... what ever happened to that dude? EDIT: Just found out what Chabot is up to. ...he is an assistant coach for the New York Islanders along with Gerard Gallant and Dan Lacroix, and head coach Scott Gordon.
