Inultus 12 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 A pretty fair assessment I think. One could make a case for Hossa, Zetterberg or Babcock being mentioned here, but overall I think it's a pretty good article. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=403751&...vid=DL|NHL|home
GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 With the way Boston is playing, no way would Lidstrom win the Norris trophy if it was given out today. Hopefully he'll surpass the competition as the season goes on, but right now I don't see him being 1st.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 Is there no longer any Selke competitors in the league? Nothing against Datsyuk, I just find it hard that there isn't some guy out there on pace for about 45 points total that isn't shutting down 1st liners all night on a career year. I also don't see Thomas winning the Pearson with the way Boston is just so damn good in every way, not just goaltending, or Lidstrom winning the Norris. IF you ask me, this guy doesn't watch very much hockey.
