Ok so I know there is other posts about this but I am just to lazy to dig them up. Does anyone have any wings tattoos? I'm planning on getting mine soon. Just wondering if anyone else has some pictures, stories and whatnot

EDIT: Oops, forgot to add the story. Hockeytown logo was first, got it during (I believe) the 2002 SCF. I know I got it in Michigan and I got to go to JoeVision for the Larionov OT-goal game and I know I got it in '02, therefore...

The #19 came shortly after Stevie Y retired. And then the Cup came during the summer before the 07-08 season to tie it all together. I got lucky that we actually won it. tongue.gif

I got my first tattoo in September (not a wings tattoo) right below my neck... it hurt, but I really like it!

Finally got it! Not the best picture but my back was pretty sore. Took about 100 minutes. Everything is round and the way it should be, even if it doesn't look like it in the picture!

That's pretty hardcore Jay! That's a huge tat! Looks really good though, almost like the artist used a stencil.

Wow jay... You weren't kidding when you said you were getting yours soon...

Everyone always says "oh, I'm getting one soon" but 4 years later they still don't have one. You? 5 days. Done.

That's pretty cool man, impressive to boot!

Well I have been interested in getting one for a while now, but yeah once I get my mind on something I do it. So far its not itchy at all, but I must say its not the easiest to get the cream stuff on.

Very nice looking... they did a good job! Give it about 5 days or so... mine itched like crazy! Luckily mine was on the back of my neck so I could reach and I would just smack it like crazy. People kind of looked at me like I was nuts sometimes, but then I just said "new tattoo" and then they understood. tongue.gif Are you putting neosporin on it, or something else? I just used neosporin for the first couple of days and then unscented aveeno (it really helps with the itching when you keep it nice and lotioned up)

On a itchiness scale of 1-10? I would say around 8 or 9 for mine and mine isn't even as big as his!
