Ideas for Protest sign in Columbus

This one works

I'm a Republican, but yeah, that checkmark list sends a good message. Or you could even keep on the political edge (as most successful slogans and signs do): Fire Bettman: Change We Can Believe In.

Or perhaps something akin to

I also liked the FREE LIDSTROM and FREE DATSYUK signs.

Or perhaps a RIP NHL 1917-2009.

Or perhaps "Bettman's NHL: The WNBA"

"Hey Bettman, No Wonder Your Son Is ***!"

"Hey Bettman, Stuff Your Ballot Boxes Up You Ass!"

Plane Ticket To Montreal - $700.00

A Ticket To The All Star Game - $400.00

Knowing The Best Team In The NHL Will Be Well Rested For The Playoffs - Priceless!

That is my personal favorite.

I'm generally not one for the obvious, but all I've got is Bettman's a dick. I have nothing deeper that somehow expands on that thought. I hope Dats and Lids pass on each and every all star through this and every other year because the game is Bush league... OK, I did have another thought. I will not be watching the game. Bettman's son sucks dick and Bettman, um...sucks dick...

Free Datsyuk!

or

Free Lidstrom!

I like this one the best.

You put something about Bettman on there and chances are - it'll never make TV. No NHL franchise wants to broadcast something like that. Keep Bettman off of the sign & focus on Lidstrom & Datsyuk.

Or maybe something like:

"NBA: Do you have a return address? Your Bitchman needs to be sent back."

Hey Bettman, the jerk store called, and they're running out of you!

Stay in Louisville.

Just kidding! I liked the "... in almost a week" one the most. Please, please, please let someone do that!

How are the Wings going to fill the roster? So you'll have Stuart, Chelios, Kronwall, Rafa, Lebda, Lilja, then Meech plays forward, so will they have to double shift one forward? What is Franzen can't play?

Anyways, I'll be amazed if Detroit wins without Dats, and Lidstrom. This will be a key game for Zetterberg, if he can't get it done, if he can't lead this team to victory, then Holland should seriously consider keeping Hossa and Franzen (the two leading goal scorers). A huge character game for a potential future captain in Zetterberg.
