The people that can barely admit Calgary improved...? C'mon. The reason announcers are gushing is because Calgary improved the most of any team. Jokinen has 21 goals, 21 assists in 57 games for a lousy club. He's a consistent 30+ goal scorer, big center. Calgary gave up Lombardi who's got 9 goals this season. Prust, 25 games, 2 pts. That is definitely an upgrade at forward. Leopold 20 points in 64 games, nice offensive d-man. The Flames lost a guy they picked up on waivers 2 days ago, a pick, and a prospect. Calgary got better and they're 8-1-2 their past 11. Detroit did not get better. That is the concern, Calgary has a guy in net who's maybe going to have more wins in a season than anyone ever, has won Vezina trophies, taken a team to the Finals, and beaten the Wings before. Obviously the Wings aren't necessarily going to meet the Flames but you think about the way Chris has played this season and Conklin, while he's had good numbers, has certainly not been awe-inspiring. Calgary and Detroit are much closer in offensive and defensive depth and if it comes down to goaltending, I worry they aren't going to be able to rise to the occasion.

Go back to Calgary, because their D is horrid, their best Dman is in the negative in +/-, they have only scored 20 more goals then have been scored on them. I really see Kipper pulling a Nabby and getting burned out come April and the Flames going no where in the playoffs.

LOLOL You caught it! Well done!

Of course. They have some funny ass songs. I also like Like A Boss

I was bored yesterday and recorded myself playing my guitar over "I'm on a boat" with distortion, sounds cool.

/Threadjack.

Now we have to wait even longer to see who Kenny signs first? wtf man...

Anyone else feeling really sorry for Duck Guy at this point?

I am. If I was a Ducks fan, or if Pahlsson was a Wing, I'd hate to lose him. He's a great player, very underrated.

Good pickup for the Hawks though.

Guest Shoreline

I don't get why the Ducks are dumping in the midst of a playoff run. Confusing as s***.
