Ok, that Fish thing is geneous. Now all we have to do is change a few things to fit the Wings...

Put Pavel's face on the fish and have him sing. Seriously. Stay with me here.

Have Hank as the guy eating the sandwich, but have him holding the Cup instead of eating. Hossa is the guy who walks in. Lids is the announcer that talks at the end.

Now change the words...

Give me back that Stanley Cup.

Give me that Cup.

Give me back that Stanley Cup.

Give me that Cup.

Aren't you glad it's you hanging out at the Joe?

Now since it's you playing with Red Wings, you're gonna be lovin' it so*!

Why not get your own tickets to the NHL Playoffs?

Especially now that they're on sale at the Joe for just (insert price).

*Ties in with McDonald's so they let us use their commercial.

No, no, no, not Pasha...Nick Lidstrom maybe, but not Pasha.

My niece Amy said something once that might apply here. "It never hurts to have two of anything."

"Are You In"?

Isn't that a joke about a girl and her boyfriend?

I had the same thought when it was originally announced...

Dude, I Want Stanley won us a Cup.

I'm fairly certain that I Want Stanley was the playoff slogan for 1996. I remember in the "rap" version of the song, it mentioned Keith Primeau, who was long gone by the time we won in 1997.

The cup winning slogans?

Get Up! - 1997

Raise Your Hands - 1998

Let 'em See Red - 2002

Are You In? - 2008

I loved A Call to Arms - 1995

'Playoffs 2009, like you didn't expect us to make it...'

Love it!!

What was the slogan last year... I remember seeing "Where champions are made and championships are played" on street poles in downtown Detroit during the finals.

I like this one too

"Pre-season is over"

"Playoffs 2009: Thank god we don't have to listen to Therrien's whining this year"

"The Red Wings 2009: Never before has a team this bad been this great"

Both are awesome!

Can ANYONE edit the song in the video and upload it? It would be absolutely awesome!

I will never forgive them for I Want Stanley.

I loved I want Stanley, I still have the CD that you could buy at Little Caesars some where!

Ha, I only own the album that accompanied that slogan as well. ;-)

"We have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and we're all out of bubble gum."

edit: well okay Babcock is NEVER out of bubblegum, but everyone else is!

Haha, thanks for posting that.
