Ya I hear you, but you gotta realize that a lot of that fallout is due to the fact this is not really an isolated incident, at least this year to say the least. I mean it gets to a point (Ozzie's consistent below then avg. play, blowouts, getting shut out by the worst team in the league, defensive lapses that are horrible to say the least, etc)

I agree with you on a lot of your points, but I don't think you can make a statement like this without realizing why the fallout happens the way it does.

AMen. I hate the bashers as much as the next guy, but they're not pretending like losing a game is the end of the world. It's the repeated screw-ups, game in, game out, even in games we win.

Let's hope the playoffs brings a whole new Wings attitude to the ice.

This i dont understand. If you think conkks wll play better fine, but why would you rather lose with Conks than with ozzie?

cause ozzie makes me sick to watch.. seems like he doesnt even wanna play. no confidence in him when the opposing team is even remotely close to the net, scratch that in the defensive zone. at least with conks i have confidence that pretty much we'll be ok. no lead is safe with ozzie in net, and that just kills me. i dont have that same mindset with conks is in net.

and can you see ozzie's post game interview? "ummm i feel real good... just some bad bounces, but ummm things are turning around and i feel ready for april".

Osgood out, Conklin plays the rest of the games and is the starter come playoffs.

Even with our mediocre play in the 3rd this should have been a wrap as long as the goaltender can make some routine saves.

No, actually, in regards to this year at least. It is the stats, and overall play which make this a fact, not opinion. I mean he is ranked 40 plus in GAA and 35 plus in SV% - and has been there the ENTIRE year. I am curious as too what it would take for you to acknowledge the fact Osgood has been pitiful this year?

Multiple weak goals. s*** happens. We'll brush ourselves off and come back for the next game against St. Louis. Hey, Hank got his 30th goal of year and his 400th career point, so that's a big positive.
