Haha, that was pretty cool. Doesn't seem very reliable, but still pretty damn cool.

By far the coolest penatly shot I've seen.

Very risky, but very awesome.

I went to buy some camouflage pants the other day but I couldn't find any.

So, we're dogpiling on the goalie sammy Hudler the defense the refs league bias against us coaching now? Ok.

Babcock is lazy and he sucks!

Check out this move he did in a game! But good luck pulling that off in the NHL...

If he ever tried that in the NHL, that guy that hit him right as he executed the move would have set him straight on his ass, and probably lodged the stick there in the process.

It's a brilliant shot selection given there's no pressure coming from the backend. Thanks for posting it!
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

In my opinion - the hands down SICKEST shootout goal to date in all of hockey. The originality of it is second to none, and while there has been a lot of bad ass shootout goals (with quite a few coming from our own Pavel Datsyuk) this one is my favorite.

Apparently Omark was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers, and hopefully we will get to see him doing stuff like this in the NHL sooner or later (just not against us I hope).

"Very few cities in the NHL have the history or the following of the Detroit Red Wings."

It is a pretty sweet move

If he went to Detroit, Datsyuk would have some friendly competition.

Pretty sweet goal

HOWEVER

Datsyuk tried a similar move the other week in Calgary - not with the toe-drag and all, but he definately tried to chip the puck over Kipprusoff as he came in from the left wing.
"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

both those moves would be great if they worked, but if not he would look like the biggest tool on the team and coach would probably flip if he did it and failed.

Both of those plays were embarrassing. And I mean embarrassing for the people here that are actually impressed by them.

You're right! We should be ashamed of ourselves for being impressed by someone who's scoring highlight goals rolleyes.gif

You pissed because you cant pull that off yourself?
