I would not mind at all a re-kindled rivalry with Chicago, and I love beating the crap out of that team. Go Wings! I still remember a game we went to there about two years ago. Beat the crap out of 'em. After the game, a bunch of no-neck rowdies paraded down the hall with a huge paper banner with "Wings suck!" on it. It's kind of like when we keep winning championships in IM sports for my fraternity, we go out there expecting to win, we don't gloat, we don't try to intimidate with anything other than our play, and when the game is over and we have another championship, everything that happened before hand makes it that much sweeter. I'm just much into that kind of symbolism, and find fans with more vitriol toward another team than cheering their own on to look rather stupid, which is why Preds fans get parodied quite often. I think right now Columbus is the better team out of the two, though, but I look forward to re-igniting the Detroit-Chicago rivalry this year. That's exactly how you should feel. And I agree with you about Columbus. I'm a Canucks fan and hope we play Chicago over Columbus. We've owned Chicago the last couple of games, but Columbus scares me a little. It was such a good feeling to crush the Aves. I did actually miss seeing that happen live though.
