I saw that in the paper this morning. Horrible.

I guess we can look at it this way...the kid got to live his dream (however briefly), pitched six scoreless innings in the bigs.

Living in Orange County and being an Angels fan this is very tragic. He was our top prospect and had a very bright future. In addition, two days earlier and Angels fan was killed at the stadium by an A's fan as he was hit from behind and hit his head on a concrete step, and the next day a piece of concrete fell from the stadium onto some seats. Thankfully no one was sitting where it landed and no one was hurt. Very strange happenings at Angel stadium in a 3 day span.
