It doesn't say much about it but are they trying to say that the Wings won't be growing beards for the playoffs or are they saying that they are starting fresh tonight?
It sounds like they are trying to say that they will not be doing it. But I take it as starting fresh.

I think it's starting fresh as well, but also, you are supposed to grow it "during" the playoffs, you don't start the playoffs with one already there.

I'd imagine they'd be starting off clean shaven.
I highly doubt they'd opt to NOT grow beards considering the playoff slogan for this year is "Get Your Beard On" ...

I went and shaved right after reading this XD Trimmed what I kept.

zeta was pretty much full on last night. I am completely shaved so hopefully this mother grows back fast... i feel so naked

i'd like to see datsyuk grow a playoff beard!
Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.

They talked to Z about that during the warm-up, he didn't shave because of a "gut-feeling"
Anyway, it was only a few days growth apparently
