World Extreme Cagefighting.
Why not let the Blues and Nucks go at it... it'd be more interesting.
Murray vs. Vignault would be great.

I said 'Nucks in 5, seems like a decent prediction if the Blues can manage to get a goal or two at home.

If you start a new thread within two hours after a Wings game, specifically a loss, YOU ARE WRONG.

Was it a hard slash to break the stick or was it one of those where the stick was probably barely together and it fell apart on its own for the most part?
I fell asleep, woke up this morning and came right down here to watch the highlights, only to see a 5-3 PP in OVERTIME for Pitt. I was thinknig, WTF? Then came here to see what happened.
Man...brutal.
This was so funny I had to set it as my sig.

You can't say the series would be tied. My guess is the Pens woulda gotten another 3 powerplays in order to tie the game.

It wasn't that hard but it was a fair swing. The main thing is, he was caught behind the forward and that was his last ditch effort. He didn't come close to getting puck. The only time something like that goes uncalled is when the ref doesn't see it.
s*** happens and the Flyers were unlucky, but they've gotta stay out of the box. The Knuble penalty was stupid too. Why crosscheck a guy who is effectively helping you screen, whilst on a PP? The Flyers have no-one to blame but themselves and I guarantee John Stevens is telling his players the same.

LOL. I missed the game, but it's never hard to figure out how a Blues loss ends. Let me guess: the crybaby Blues gooned it up to "send a message!"
Still haven't figured out exactly what "message" the Blues have been trying to send for the last two decades of this BS.

I know I'm going to sound like a Canucks Homer here, but the Canucks did all the message sending last night, right down to the final whistle. 5 on 5, the Canucks have been absolutely dominant, and they hit the Blues so much that they treat the puck like a hot potato.

The league decided they wanted the Pens to advance long before this series started. Even the guys on NHLlive commented on how the Flyers are getting jobbed in this series. It's blatantly obvious and nauseating how much they want to showcase Crosby in the NHL POs. Someone will knock them out, maybe it will be the Wings again.

I don't see the Penguins beating either the Devils or the Bruins, even if they happen to suck off the refs. Philly is a highly undisciplined team who did well during the regular season but obviously doesn't have the right mentality for the playoffs.

exactly what im saying. discipline is so f***ing key in the playoffs, its how we knocked off calgary and san jose a few years back. philadelphia has earned a reputation for cheap shots and bad penalties resulting from emotions boiling over. they have great talent, but refs are going to watch them a little closer, i dont think itd be any different if they were playing another team. i dont know what to think about the guy running into biron, he was skating in full charge on a goalie that very far out of his crease, seems like an "at your own risk" situation. either way, i dont care. i hate the flyers and relish seeing them lose. reason being, i hate their style of play first off, and second my brother in law is a huge fan and he pissed me off royally the other night by calling me over and over again until i picked up after CBJ scored their first goal against us, just to piss me off.

This just in, Stevie gives Canada the Order of Yzerman. Country bows and feels unworthy.
