Go Wings. I wish for Ozzy to have another stellar performance!

Light 'em up, boys!

We had points yesterday from 7 different people, none of them named Datsyuk, Hossa, Lidstrom, or Rafalski. Datsyuk and Hossa will come out hungry and pick up 2 points each. Ozzie shuts up doubters even more. Wings go up 2-0.

Hope the boys can play like they did in the last 35 of last game. Going 2-0 into Columbus will be huge as it will be almost a home game with all of the Wings fans in there (are there really an BJ fans out there that were not Wings fans first?).

This might be a stupid question but... why is Mason's GAA 4.01? Is there a reason it's not just 4.00? It's late and I just happened to notice that and wonder about it... :confused1:

Goals against average is calculated in minutes played, not games played. Any time the goalie leaves the net for an extra attacker, either late game or delayed penalty, his goals against should go up ever so slightly; and any time a goalie is yanked, his GAA for that single night is usually monstrous as part of giving up multiple goals in often a third or half of a game.

With that said, Mason played 59:52 of the last game and Ozzie played 59:54. Calculating their GAA with the proper formula puts Mason at 4.008 (rounding up to 4.01) and Ozzie at 1.001 (rounding down to 1). Some sites (including NHL.com) chose not reflect this, while others (namely Yahoo!) do.

was about to ask about the 4.01 GAA thing but it's been explained *the more you know*

If Oz plays the same kinda game he did Thursday, we'll win this easy.
