Good thing I have TSN and TSN2.

The only two channels I have besides games on CBC.

Had to watch game 1 on my computer because of TSN2. I don't get it in my area for some reason, it's frustrating.

But really, swapped for Carolina/New Jersey? That series has been boring as hell apart from yesterdays third period. Gross.

Add yourself to the list of those with no Wings coverage in Round One.

I don't expect Versus to cater to the Wings like they do the Penguins or Flyers (pretty sure Comcast is based outta Philly)... but still, one game as defending champs is kinda sad, especially since they aired all the games of the other lopsided series. Ah well.

Don't you think non-wings fans would think our series is boring? I mean, it has been completely one sided. Both teams are competitive in the Car/NJ series and it's tied at 2-2.

Yeah, Versus has been showing all the games except the Wings games. I had to watch the game last night online, and will have to do the same thing with the game tomorrow night.

yes, Comcast owns Versus (should've just called Comcast sports Network, seems more legit to me) and Comcast also owns the Flyers, hence the reason for all the flyer games during the season and general east coast bias.

The Detroit/Columbus series hasn't exactly been riveting hockey for people who don't cheer for either team.

The Canes/Devils game last night was some pretty exciting hockey (for two teams I have very little interest in).

Glad I have Shaw Cable with TSN 2 and didn't cater to Ted "I want the NFL in Canada and charge people $900 for pre-season games" Rogers and his stupid crappy digital provider.

Like Dano said above, I would think most neutral fans would think this series is boring, largely because Columbus just isn't in it. You can just see when they switch over to James Duthie in the intermissions he's almost embarrassed to be on the station that's show this game first. What neutral fan wants to watch complete and total domination when they can watch Marty Brodeur flop around, give up a goal with 0.2 seconds left and slam his stick around?

This won't be a problem in the second round because there'll be half the options of other teams to show instead of the Wings.

Rumor has it that Versus is changing their name next year to FSPenguins.

One is the closest series of the first round, the other has been the least so I can understand why this is so, though it is an elimination game.

There's already such a thing as Comcast SportsNet, it's Comcast's version of FSN.
