come on guys... dont generalize. there are plenty of gracious blue jackets fans out there. It was an awesome game and jackets fans are just upset after losing in a really close hard fought game.

my personal opinion on the penalty... it was a penalty! no doubt they had 6 guys. when its that close it is something that a ref could let go in that situation. an interference or slash is different than a bench minor. but we cant call it a "bad call". its just a tough way to lose and to say "Jackets fans went in classless and will go out classless" is generalizing things a bit from what a few fans might have had to say.

PS and i wish the fans had not thrown stuff on the ice, thats not a cool move.

Good to see nice level headed fans of such a young franchise. You guys should be focusing on the major steps your team took this year in making the playoffs, having what I feel is the odds on favorite for rookie of the year, and a very bright future. Not whining about the refs not giving you a major boon by swallowing the whistle on a call that by all means was a penalty, not like it was a game 7 either. Granted I do understand most of the BJ forum goers are likely just venting frustration and thinking with their hearts so I'd really not take what they say as gospel, so I'll stray from using anymore sweeping generalities about BJ fans.

Sure was--I was there in fact. And that was also over a perceived officiating jobbing. Browns were down five late but driving. On 4th down, a first down catch was made inside the 10. The Browns then ran up to the line and spiked it. After that happened, they went back and overturned the catch because the ball hit the ground. It did, but you're not allowed to review plays after the next play is run. Allegedly, the official's buzzer went off before the next play, but he never blew his whistle of even flinched. I still doubt that story.

I can admit it now, I was a dumb college kid at the time and almost threw one myself but my dad bear-hugged me. I'm thankful to this day that he did that. I'd like to think I'm better than that and just had a lapse in judgment.

I never joined and I stopped even reading. You could tell they had a problem when they went to that system where you had to get recommended by someone. A nice idea but the problem is, everyone there was already stupid, so they just recommend other stupid people. Like shutting the gate after the sheep all escape.

Ya I don't think I have ever seen the Wings sweep, and absolutely dominate a series, and still not get any credit from the opposing teams fans. Seriously it's like these last 4 games were all Columbus or something, and Detroit was lucky enough to muster out some wins. At least Colorado fans could admit they got beat by a better team last year. I know Detroit has no talent, and has never accomplished anything as a team or individuals so I guess the Jackets fans must be right.

Did you read any of my posts? jackets got beat by a better team. Whether we won tonight or not, the series was over. the BJs were playing for pride and trying to pull down a game to avoid the sweep.
