Again, chances are slim to none that if Versus carries the game, it'll be on FSN. At least on Directv. Anybody got a match?
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 There was some confusion in this area last round as well... I wouldn't give up hope that it's not going to be on FSN or FSN+ yet. Last round NHL.com didn't have FSN marked as a broadcaster of the first few games but they ended up being on FSN anyway. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't get too upset unless you see this info come out of FSN directly.
EuroTwin 240 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 I was excited until I realized that they may black out the feed on Center Ice. Me being in California and all, despite the nearly 400 miles between San Francisco and Anahiem. God, please let me get Ken and Mickey for one game this round! I don't think I can handle the Ducks announcers if they black it out.

I don't think I can handle the Ducks announcers if they black it out. Same boat I'm in in SoCal. I have cable with NBC, Versus and all that plus the Center Ice package, but if Anaheim decides to blackout the game I'm f***ed, regardless of which channel it's on. That's why I'm looking into these streaming sites to try and fill that gap in the event I'm blacked out. I love paying extra for more channels and exclusive hockey packages and yet still miss the games I wanna see. It's awesome! esteef
Vladifan 680 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 http://msn.foxsports.com/id/9450302 Done!! OK, according to another thingie I printed out, Versus will also be showing the games on Tuesday the 5th, the next Tuesday (the 12th) and the following Thursday. SO far - on Directv - if VS shows any game, it's blacked out anywhere else (at least outside of the Detroit area), including FSN. So I can't tell you how I hope you're right. But like I said, so far it has not been the case. Of course those last Tuesday and Thursday games are the 6th and 7th games, so if the Wings play their game, SCREW Versus! Thanks to you and you too, MrSandMan.
