Just heard on CBC/Hockey Night in Canada. They filed about an hour ago.

Part of the bankruptcy filing included a recommendation that an offer from Jim Balsillie (his company, PSE Sports) be accepted, who would then move the team to Southern Ontario, presumably Hamilton & Copps Coliseum.

Well this is going to make or break Bettman's future as chairman, no matter what happens with the Coyotes. Best of luck to the organization, players and the fans. Esp the fans.

So now the question becomes...who moves west?
It is not your aptitude, but your attitude, that determines your altitude.

They're moving to Saskatoon.

The NHL has been dying to move a team there for many years now. The Yukon will likely be the next spot after the Florida Panthers fold.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

We've got a new 10,000 seat arena in Toledo. I say we throw on another 5,000 and we could take an NHL team.

I would love to see another Canadian team. It's always bothered me that it's the national sport and we have more teams down here than they have up there. As an American with all these teams, it kind of makes me feel like a poser.

you red wing fans that live outside the detroit area such as toledo or ontario, if a hockey team moved to your home town would you stop being wings fans and pick up the other team?
