CenterIce 83 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 The owner of the Bulls/White Sox is well short of Basillie's offer to buy the Coyotes, but the NHL is trying to keep it quiet, so that they can bring him in and avoid the bankruptcy judge giving it to the highest bidder, Basillie. Patrick Roy, as has been rumoured, may become the Colorado head coach. He is also offering his services to any NHL team, as well. Also, Scotty Bowman thinks he deserves a chance after his time in the minors. Dallas could be the next team to go bankrupt, because of the loan defaults of their owner. He owns the Rangers and an English soccer team, as well. The team could receive outside investors or be sold, but bankruptcy is also an option.

They're building a sports arena right near where we live and Tom Hicks is the major investor in it. The Stars are gonna have their own AHL team be based here. Sure hope he sticks around.
