I know there is alot of hate for the ducks on this site and understandably so this must be especially nice for you guys. GL against the hawks I will still be here rooting the wings on to a hopefully their repeat!!.. All about the wings now notice the sig has officialy been changed ... Thanks! I was driving home on the freeway when we tied it up. My daughters were so embarrassed when I started honking my horn. What really sucked? The only goal of the game I saw was Clearys winner... Good luck to you guys next round. My prediction on the Ducks board came true! I still love to hate your team. I always dig the end of the series. The hand shakes are what make it what it is. ALL HAIL THE (still) CURRENT STANLEY CUP CHAMPS (and probably 2009 champs as well). WELL DONE. Thanks, guys. Even though the Ducks lost tonight, I'll reiterate what I said in another thread before the game... you guys have had one hell of a season. You took out the #1 seed and #1 favored team in the league and then you pushed the defending Cup champs to their first game 7 in something like 13 series. You guys took out the Sharks, who many people said were going all the way. The Ducks have a great future ahead of them... This will turn out to be quite the rivalry... Despite the press he gets, Getzlaf is the most underrated player in the game. He's an absolute beast and his line gives my nightmares. Edit: I can't wait for the Duck Trolls to go away now. Your team is done for the year, but you're not done watching hockey... and here you are on the most prominent Wings forums. Their defense is so amazing I spent most of the series trying to figure out how they were cheating guys like Datsyuk. Truth is there just really good defensively. I was back in Detroit last month during round and when I came back to work my entire cubical had been desecrated with about a hundred duck print-outs. People kept asking what I was going to do for revenge. And I kept saying that I would let it be settled on the ice. Despite the constant further harassing. However...now that it's over... tomorrow just so happens to be our work pot luck lunch. And I made a call and am getting up early and making the drive to pick up a whole roasted duck to bring to the pot-luck. I will post pics. Sorry to go off topic on your thread DG.
