Happened last night while the handshakes were going on. "A Detroit Police report lead to an assault investigation involving Murray. An upset and angry Murray, the report notes, picked up a high bar stool and hit 55-year-old Rachel Paris on the left chest, arm and shoulder area. She was treated by first aid personnel and interviewed by police."

Bad for that fan, awesome for the game of hockey

Interesting that she refused to press charges... I wonder who talked her into that and what they used to bribe her? Had to be either the company she was working for, the Wings or the Ducks. Either way, I can only assume she got some free stuff :P

So how did he really feel about that call?

I bet he wasn't throwing stools when his team got that beneficial call in game 3.

Don't forget- it wasn't a missed call at all in this game. The rule all the Ducks fan quote only applies to situations when the goalie controls the puck. A loose puck is subject to a separate rule, one I forget the number of but TSN showed it after the goal and their panel unanimously agreed the goal was good because of that rule. This other rule says the player can push the goalie (within reason, which this small nudge certainly was) when attempting to play a loose puck.

"Officers noted since there was a brief time when they thought they couldn't actually SEE the chair (due to it being "free donut night" at the Ponda Center) they were unable to actually charge Mr. Dickweed Murray with assault. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Rachel Paris was taken into custody for allegedy assaulting Mr. Dickweed Murray's chair with her chest. Police commented, "Hey, this is just an extension of the on-ice officiating!"

Most likely money and from the company she was working for. That has law suit written all over it.
