It's cool, it's cool. We'll get that back and then some. Scoring first doesn't mean anything in the end.

Let's go Wings!!

I'm calling Hossa with the tying goal!
Hudler!!

"If you didn't know him, and saw him without hockey gear, you'd never suspect Datsyuk to be a world-class athlete. He walks a bit hunched over. His gait is somewhat crab-like, almost like he's still skating, even on dry land.

But put him on skates and he's Houdini on ice. He is not the fastest skater by a long shot, but there can't be too many who are stronger or more flexible. Checking him has to feel like checking Gumby. You might get a piece of him, but he bounces away, moving faster thanks to the leverage he gained from your check."

Equal fault on Ericsson for being unable to handle the puck there.

We went down 1-0 early against anaheim and came back to tie it a few minutes later. Plus normally when were down we actually start trying to play

The Ducks did their job! This team will be so worn down that The Hawks need to take advantage ASAP

Wings look tired. No one to blame but themselves, really. Should've finished off the Ducks series in Game 6 instead of sleepwalking through it, and gotten themselves a couple extra days of rest.

I mean, I was kind of worried about a start like this. We need to neutralize it before it becomes too much, though. I fully expected Chicago come out strong, but I was hoping we'd be able to weather the storm. That hasn't happened.

Is Franzen/Filppula/Hossa too much to ask for?

Wings need to have more sustained pressure. Right now their only acclaim on offense is throwing it to the net on a bad angle since they're trying to force a play to the net after entering the zone with 2 Wings vs. 4 Hawks. Not gonna work.

As I feared, the Wings look sluggish so far. I expect them to get going in the 2nd and 3rd, they just need to tighten things up and don't fall into a deeper hole.

Im not sure what Ericsson or Osgood were thinking there.. but.. Whats another lucky bouce.. if we can overcome the lucky ass ducks then we can handle one bad bounce here.. we should be used to it by now..

slow tempo game... a shadow of what we had with Anaheim.
Sweet. This dude was brought here for one reason, to punch people in the head - every other thing that he can do, other Wings can do better. I like that we have a head-puncher. The league has other, better head-punchers, but this one is ours. Better than nothing. Good work, Kenny!
