WCF GAME 5: Blackhawks 1 at Red Wings 2 (OT)

Z must be lucky because the Wings have also gone undefeated when I have worn my Zetterberg jersey in the playoffs...

Anyone else with a #40 jersey I suggest you wear it!

GO WINGS!

I'm still waiting for my Z jersey.. I ordered it like a month before the playoffs started.. :/

This game is sort of weird.. losing this one and winning the next instead looks like it would actually be better for the Wings since they'd get a lot more rest, but you never want to lose a playoff game. And we don't want to give the Hawks their confidence back. A loss tonight and this series could go to 7.

I think the Wings will do their very best to close the series tonight.

5-3 Wings. Hossa 2, Franzen 1, Leino 1, Zetterberg 1 (EN).

Not heard them before, they are probably alright, not watson nor o'halloran

You haven't heard of McCreary before? He's one of the better refs over the years. Started as a ref in 1984, and worked the SCF for 13 straight years, last year being the first year he did not make the cut for the SCF. Tends to let the players sort things out themselves and only calls (normally) the really bad stuff.

He was featured in a pre-lockout commercial from the 96-97 post season where he says to Daren McCarty: "This is good tough hockey!" I believe they were pounding the Avs at the time.

Oh s***, not the bulin wall :(

By the way, is it true that if red wings win tonight the SCF will start at saturday, if not it will start on june 5th... with the veterans on this team and the growing numbers of injuries on the team would it not be better to take the next game?... Walk over anyone? ^_^

The NHL never ceases to anger me that the final round of the playoffs will start Saturday and possibly Sunday for game #2 if we win tonight. Nope. Can't resist doing their part in helping Crosby, their sissy little suck winning his first Cup.

Im not going go say it .. but if, IF we lose tonight, the Hawks still won't win three in a row against us. So ...

Go Wings!!!
