Hi Everyone!!

I am off to vegas tomorrow and will be there for the 1st 4 games of the finals so was wondering if anyone can suggest the best bars to watch the games in? i figure it will be easy to find the games on but wanted to go to places where shouting and jumping around like a loon won't be frowned upon!!

Thanks in advance :)

Good luck finding the games. It might be easier then when i was there last time since this will be the finals. I think that the best place will be at the sports books. I would try the one at the Palms. Young crowd and they are hosting the NHL awards this year so i feel like they like hockey there. The Hard Rock could be another good sports book to hit up. Again it tends to be a younger crowd that is a little more fun loving. The Las Vegas Hilton is another decent sport book that could be fun to watch the games at.

When i was there in January, we hit up a sports book and they didn't have any hockey on. We asked if they could put the Wings game on and they looked at us like we were crazy. The bar tender then said, You know you are in the desert don't you? He eventually put the game on for us but every 10 min a different bar tender would walk up, look at the TV and go why is hockey on? They would then try and change it and we would ask them to put it back on. They did but it was really annoying.

Most people will say that the Mandalay Bay sports book is the best place to watch any sporting event. From my experience it blows. Just not a fun place. Great Casino but crappy sport book.

I'm not sure if they have an ESPN Zone, I think that there is one in New York New York, but that might be the best BAR to watch the games. They have a ton of big screens in that place and normally have big games on their.

Hope that they don't play at the same time as NBA games. Those will probably take priority in the desert over hockey.

Enjoy your trip. I love Vegas and i wish i could get out there soon. Let us know if you have any luck finding the games out there.

Yes - there is an ESPN Zone in Vegas = it is right on Las Vegas Blvd...

The best thing to do is look up Vegas sports bars online and than call around and see if they will be airing the game.

I watched game 4 in the back of o shays. they had some beer pong tables set up and I just said hey turn on the Wings game and they did no problem. Mind you by the time the game was over I had 4 hours of beer pong in by the time it was over. Anyways you should have no problem watching it in vegas, you can also go to one of the many sports betting places within the casinos that have every game on. There's a nice one in Caesars Palace. Every time I have been to Vegas I have been able to watch a wings game no problem

I was there for last Anaheim game, and Game one of the BH's. We were staying at Southpoint Casino. Watch in the Sports Bar / Lounge. Any casino will have it going on at the Sports Betting area, trust me. You will have no problem finding it.

Tons of RW's fans were there and it was nice.

We watched the last Anahiem game at the ESPN SportsZone bar. This is located in the New York - New York Casino. Great place to watch. Each booth and table has it's own table flat screen with volume and channel controls...as well as 4 hugh Hi-Def big screens for the entire place. We had to wait 10 minutes to get a table, but there were a bunch of Wings fans there and we ran the place and had a blast.

Have fun..Go Wings!

ESPN Zone for sure.

I wached one of the columbus games there when I was in Vegas to see Paul McCartney and it was their main event on all the biggest screens they had, so I'm sure the SCF games will be as well.

O'Sheas + Beer Pong + Wings game = EPIC WIN

Plus the bartenders are not ones to hide their opinions of teams. Spent a lot of time discussing with one in particular.

There is an ESPN Zone in New York New York (it is pretty packed though), and sports booking will have the game(s) on for sure. Just find one and get comfy.

Also some of the places I noticed they have these "portable" speakers you can bring to your table and tune into the channels they have playing. That way you can hear the game at your table, even though it's loud or your 20ft from TV.

Only thing with ESPN zone compared to other bars is there's no such thing as a cheap drink there. Other bars are better on the wallet

Buffalo Wild Wings near the Galleria Mall. The GM is a huge Detroit fan, and makes sure to have all Detroit games on. Now that the Wings are in the Finals, they will probably get a big screen or two.

PLEASE PLEASE no disrespect to the other responses but the ONLY bar a wings fan should go to is called Meatheads. It is an all out Detroit bar. they show every wings, lions, tigers, and pistons game. It's a small bar but it will be packed with great fans. I encourage anyone in the area to come check it out. Look for me, i'll be wearing a Klima 85 jersey with a few buddies.my name is Larry. the address is 1121 S Decatur Blvd # 120, Las Vegas - and the phone number is (702) 870-4440. hope you and anyone else who reads this can show up!!! By the way, sometimes for the games they will serve coneys or at least order little caesars. it's awesome!!!

I lived in Vegas for two years. Hands down, "Hammerheads Bar and Grill" on Nellis/Tropicana Ave. About 10 minutes off the strip... That was my hangout- GREAT FOOD, lots of big screens, and they're midwest USA natives.
