VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted May 31, 2009 Rafalski gets one when Lidstrom is gone. Skill and seniority pretty much guarantees it out of respect. Beyond Rafalski, I can see Kronner getting one, but I don't see Franzen. I'm not sure why, to be honest, just a gut feeling that Franzen isn't really a team leader anymore than anyone else on the team. I could see Cleary getting one as well. I want ot say Helm, but if Lids retires in 2010 when is contract is up or even a couple years after that, Helm would have been playing full-time in the NHL for what like 3 years? His time will come. Zata -C Dats -A Kronner- A Possibly Raffy or Hossa -A (goes without saying that Drapes keeps his until he retires) I'm basing my Kronner guess on how he is during interviews (they want someone who can talk to the media) and from reports on how well he gets along with the guys and helps the new guys get situated in Detroit.
