I saw a few replays...maybe a bit of a hook by Hossa, but NO WAY there was a slash in there...a slash is swinging the stick at another player...and that didn't happen.

This is what I don't get. Where was the slash? Just because Dupuis stick broke, doesnt mean there was a slash.

Remotes have a 'mute' button for just this purpose.

I didn't say I listen to when they are talking about Crosby, just saying that i hate when they always talk about him. :)

Well sure it does. His stick broke because of Hossa's subtle interference.

Good effort going to the net on both goals (Helm screen, Homer drawing the D & Malkin). Need more of that in the 3rd. Guys like Cleary, Zetterberg, etc. were determined to get between the circles and to the net.

REALLY need to be better in the defensive zone. Some god-awful giveaways. Scary bad.

Pierre crying more and more about the Hossa "slash" they showed it again twice, and there was nothing flagrant about that. looks like crappy stick quality to me.

From the HF Pens board:

"exactly. Detroit's system hinges on their ability to interfere and obstruct once they lay down the trap. It makes playing into the trap impossible... just like the hooking and grabbing did back in the mid-90s. This is exactly the kind of hockey the league was suppose to end."

lol. Yeah, because they're not doing it at all this game...give me a ******* break.

Yeah, if there's one thing the Wings have been known for over the last twenty years or so, it's their trapping and their style of play that clogs the ice so skilled teams can't skate.
