Nice turnaround with the GDTs. Hope the team feels the same way--first game's history, time to fire it up again. Getting 2 up would be freaking huge, so we can follow the model of only needing a split in Pittsburgh to keep a death grip on the series.

Now I need to take my own advice and come off this high so I can be the best fan I can be!

Goooooo Wings!

17-1, is what the score will be.

Rexy (2), Hoss (2), Dats, Hank, Danny, Malts, Leino, Helm, Lids, Raffi, Stewie, Lebda, Mule, Fil (2)

And there are your scorers, ladies and gents. Watch my amazing prediction come true!

(Full 60 and a W of any kind would do nicely for reals though.)

Kill. Maim. Destroy. Obliterate. Annihilate. WIN.

Same post from last game. Step on their throats and force them to win both their home games. We can do this. Same juju as Game 1.....if ain't broke.

Wings win, Hank with the hat trick.

Think Crosby needs too feel what he dished out last game. Oh yeah, that's right... he's God and can't have a penalty called against him . If it was regular season, that cross check to the back of the neck would be reviewed for a suspension.

Please. Kronner or Stue... lay the hit that makes him think twice.

I'm feeling confident this morning. Back to backs really suck but as quick as we have to get back out there, the Pens and Cindy Crosby also have little time to make tweaks. I think they still feel the outcome shouldve been better. Yet Game #1 wasn't even our best game. More to come, Pittsburgh ....

Goooo Wings!!!

Anyone else get the feeling this game will go to OT?

I feel the Pens are going to play with even more desperation today. They don't want to go down 2-0.

It's going to be more difficult than yesterday I think.

Wings 4 - Hossa 2, Hudler, Lidstrom

Pens 3 - Crosby, Malkin, Guerin

Will be watching this one with Mom and little sisters (one of whom is a Wings fan, the other of whom is vaguely aware that hockey is played on ice).

Go Wings! Impress my unconverted sister!

Also, it's Chelischick's mom's birthday! Win one for Martha, boys!

Wings win 7-1, with the last 6 goals coming off Fleury's butt.

Wings win 4-2

I expected a big game last night from staal but it wasn't there. Did anyone notice on the CBC feed that staal was blubbering during the national anthem? I was like oh s***, emotions are running high so I expected him to show up. Now I guess Karen's version just got 'em worked up.

Yea I saw that too and was, "WOW, these guys are still boys among men".

Game 1 I said 4-1. I figured we be up 3-1, then hit an empty net. I was sooo close!!

Game 2 I think we'll win 4-2. Holmstrom, Zetterberg, Hossa, and Lidstrom with the goals. I don't care who scores for Pittsburgh because they can go screw themselves :P (It's the Stanley Cup Finals folks, emotions are running high).

I don't mind these back-to-back games. Pittsburgh doesn't have enough time to get over their frustrations, so we can stick it to them again in a hurry.
