WCF GAME 4 GDT: Red Wings 2 at Penguins 4

Still staying positive here. I've seen the Wings come back before and I have no reason to believe they can't do it again. I trust Babcock to say and do the right things, make the right changes, and do whatever he can from behind the bench to keep these guys in it.

If the Wings lose, series tied. Extra day of rest. Not the end of the world.

And if the Wings can rally and win this game, I don't think Pittsburgh could recover from that blow. The extreme high to extreme low might just finish them.

Alright. I can't remember which poster said it, but he compared Sammy to Hossa....

And when Sammy gest bashed hard, he usually comes up with a big goal.....

SO, here's to hoping that Hossa has a little Sammy in him, and he makes some of us eat our words.

wow..there really is some negativity out there in the wings nation....if anyone can turn it around its us!

Zetts is still playing great, but Bylsma has played the matchups well tonight...if only we could shut down malkin.

Lids has been good, stuart has been good, homer's working his arse off with no results, helm is clearly wonderful as ever, franzen has been sadly tied up too much in back-checking. Cleary's been pretty good. Everyone else has disappointed tonight. So far.

I don't accept the Hossa lazy theory, but I do think there is a total absence of chemistry between him and the rest this series and he's trying too hard to prove a point to the world. If it comes down to signing hossa or re-signing hulder and sammy, no-one is covering themselves with glory right now. They have a period and up to 3 games to earn their spot for next year.......

I am gradually restoring my hope in this team. I've calmed down these last few minutes, I hope the Wings have, too. Come out firing on all cylinders. A goal in the first two minutes, please?

Let's go Wings!

I wouldn't mind seeing Osgood blocking some shots either.

Seems like he plays better when everyone criticizes him.

You're kidding, right?

Osgood is the only reason it's not 6/7-2 right now.

He's been left hanging out to dry all night long.

One thing you'll find about a team that wins a lot is when said team faces adversity lots of pansy bandwagoners jump off the bandwagon at the snap of a ******* finger.

That being said the Wings have one period to score at least two goals, which is certainly well within their means. It also means they need to get off their asses defensively and stop playing like s***.

Yeah it sounds like a lot of bandwagoners, if the Pens win this one it is a best 2 of 3 with the potential deciding game in Detroit. That being said a longer series favors the Pens legs IMO. Staal's shorty turned that period around. Sid may have awaken. Lots of time left.

They have to win this game...I work in a land filled with P'burgh fans...It was bad enough during football season...it will be unbearable if this series goes 2-2..

Let's go boys!! Let's go!!!

Why doesn't Detroit have to win it? Last time I checked, you have to win in the Finals. They lose this, and their lead is erased.

You could just as easily say this is a must win for Detroit. Dropping a 2-0 lead is ridiculous in the FINALS of all places.

Last time I checked 2-2 is a new series, whereas 3-1 pretty means game over. Pens MUST win this one to survive. Not really hard to understand, really

97.1 should be really fun to listen to tomorrow.

Until game time sat. I will not get on the internet, listen to the radio, or watch any sports channel.
