Hearing that Pavel Datsyuk will be out of the lineup: The hockey fan grips the nearest object for support, pants with head lowered toward the ground, nerves fire off at a ridiculous pace, and the thought "NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" bounces around through their mind.

Hearing that Pavel Datsyuk has been re-inserted back into the lineup: The hockey fan stands up, jumps in a circle, clicks his/her heels together three times and shouts "THANK YOU, GOD. YOU DO EXIST."

But today, dear Pavel? Today, the hockey fan is about to die. Our bodies are not constructed for this constant barrage of good & bad news.
