liquidroad 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 This is pretty much a stab in the dark, but I was wondering if there are any fellow Wings fans in LA, and if so, is there a bar that Wings fans go to out here? Thanks.

VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Yes, I attempted to get you guys to hit Big Wangs which happens to be a Red Wings bar. I know you mentioned you wanted something close however, I'm driving 40 miles to go if we are all meeting up. It'd be cool to have us all in one place if we're going to get together - it's so much more fun that way.
Statts 4 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Kinda off topic, but Red Wings fans roll deep in So Cal. Went to a game vs. the kings this year, and was amazed (and proud) at how many Wings fans were there.
VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 *bowing* you got it. Any time you're down here Statts - you're more than welcome to be an honorary RWNW member!
liquidroad 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Thanks for the suggestions so far! Big Wangs is a Red Wings bar? I love and work in West Hollywood, so I'm pretty close to there. I was at the Wings-Kings game in January as well and it seemed like there were just as many Wings fans as Kings.
VladyIBELIEVE16 257 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 We always meet up before the games LR and I host game parties at my house. You should say hi next time. I was working on Big Wangs (which is in the group events section of the forum) but we had only about 4 people say they'd go so... I'm not making a 40 mile drive one way for 4 people.. I love you all a lot but.. I want to sit with a big group if we're going to a bar/restaurant... http://www.letsgowings.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry1718703 If we can get a few more people together to go.. I can get there early and stake out the place. I've already spoken with a guy there about tomorrow.
stuck in socal 56 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 I make most of the Wings/Kings games when the Wings come into town. I could go to the Ducks game as well, but I choose to go to the easier, pretty much guranteed wins for my Wings. I'm gonna stick at home tomorrow though, i tend to soak in the SCF games alone with just a friend or two. For those who are going out have a wonderful time. GO WINGS! I've got a 46 inch LCD HD tv... I've got cold beer on tap and I may even cook friday - http://www.letsgowings.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59049 We've got Andyinsdca even taking off work early to drive up to Huntington Beach from San Diego! That's not meant to be a s***ty question, I mean it. I've never been there for a game and never planned too. Which one? N.H. or H?

I've never been there for a game and never planned too. Which one? N.H. or H? ThirdManIn goes there all the time as well as a few other wings fans I know. You should call and ask. I guess they always have huge turnouts for wings games? The Hollywood one on Cahuenga. But it's game 7 at my place on Friday!!!
Maske 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 Would anyone be up for The Happy Ending on Sunset? Their food is light years ahead of Big Wangs. Place is huge, HD screens, enough room to take over a section. And Lakers fans have the night off.
