MississippiWing 14 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 How long do you think till Ozzie retires? It seems to be that Red Wings fans have like a bipolar relationship with Ozzie. During the regular season its like get the f out you bum. Then in the playoffs it's like Ozzie you are the man. I know I for one will be sad to see him go, but how much longer are we looking at till Ozzie rides off into the sunset?

CenterIce 83 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) He has one year left on his current deal. If the Red Wings want him, he will probably re-sign. He likes it here. He will probably be the transition to Howard/Larsson. Edited June 9, 2009 by CenterIce
ifonlyicouldskate 11 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 all the way to the end of his contract. maybe a 1 year deal after that.

denverswingsfan 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 I'm sure that as long as the Wings keep winning with Ozzie behind them, he will have a place in the line up. Other goalies have played until they are 40 or older, so we may be seeing him for a while.
b.shanafan14 733 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 I predict Ozzy finishes out the remaining years of this contract and then settles for a one-year deal before joining Jim Bedard as a goalie coach.
