No kidding. She's made it up to fourth line grinder status, which indicates a Dahmer-like obsession with the Wings.

I'm starting to detect a hint of a closet Wings fan, or a very very jealous person.

BewarethePenguin, just come out and admit you love the Wings.

Nothing would make me happier than Hossa being the first person Lidstrom hands the Cup tonight.

I shouldn't say that, there's a lot of things that would make me happier. But in terms of hockey tonight, that would be tops.

Be sure to create a new thread about it.

Cool...another thread talking about a poster and not the original topic.

I'll try anyway.

The great irony of this is that Hossa has to play against Pit to win the Cup. It would be much greater had Atlanta won the East this year. Yeah, it wasn't going to happen, but can you imagine the storyline? The arguements that "he was traded he couldn't help it" pitted against the "he demanded the trade" arguements. It would have been fun.

It would have been like if St. Louis had faced Det in the WCF last year leaving Drake to wonder if he'd done the right thing.

Or if the Leafs beat Vancouver for the Cup this year.

Hossa took a chance, but it was a calculated one. We hope it was the right one. Soon, we'll know.

Uh....then why did you post in it? No one *had* said a thing about you.

You really need to see a psychologist about this obsession over Hossa.

I said why did you post in it, meaning *this thread*. No one had said anything about you in here. You just called attention to yourself.

I really hope that they win it tonight because I want to see Hossa skate with the Cup around Mellon Arena. Maybe he'll even let Cry-sby - excuse me- Crosby touch it. :hehe::D

What's absolutely amazing about this is that both Detroit and Pittsburgh made it back. It's so hard for either team to make it to B2B Finals and whether Hossa admits it or not, I'm sure he would have preferred to play practically any other team in the East to eliminate the chance of possibly looking foolish.

Imo, you have to say he made the right decision no matter what happens from now on. He's one game from winning the cup, something he probably had hoped but couldn't expect when he signed here. No one knows what would have happened if he had stayed in pittsburg. Perhaps they would have gotten off to a little better start, meaning Therrien might still be in charge. They probably wouldn't have been able to make any real moves at the trade deadline, meaning they wouldn't have Kunitz or Guerin. Would they still be in the finals if that would have happened? I have my doubts. Still, it's just a ironic situation that grabs the attention of the media and the fans, but if I was Hossa I wouldn't spend much time second guessing my decision no matter what.
