hey guys hate to ask this as im a very superstitious wings fan from vancouver bc, and very freaking upset to the max right now as many of us, but last year when we won the cup i flew to detroit the very next day to make it in time for the cup parade in detroit, now i dont wanna say this but if we "praying to god with all i have in me" win on friday, what day will the cup parade be on? would it be on saturday? someone please let me know, if any of you have any clue or already know, since im not from michigan n from canada please n thanks this is very imp.

No clue. Play it safe and fly in Friday and stick around for a while. I'm a Californian but from what I can tell based on my limited experiences in Detroit, it's a half-decent place to spend a few days.

You're not jinxing anything. You're asking for a *just in case* situation which is perfectly fine and understandable.

From what I remember it's always two days after the win so it'd most likely be Sunday.

Why do people feel the need to be assholes to people just because THEY'RE superstitious? Not everyone believes in superstition so why be so intolerant of those who don't? It's like religion in a way. If you're christian, do you automatically hate everyone who is of any other religion? No, if you're superstitious fine, but don't be dicks to those that aren't.

It won't be on the weekend. All four have always been during the week. Plus the Red Bull Air Races are this weekend. Hart Plaza will be in use.

Don't believe in jinxing, if the Wings win the parade would probably be Monday. They don't seem to have the parades on the weekend. Pretty sure its because the whole state of Michigan would be down there if it was on the weekend. That would be a mess down there.

hey thanks for the input to all you guys that helped answer my question, if it would be for the weekday if we win "please god please" monday would workout the best for micighaners n pple that wanna fly into detroit like myself "hopefully i pray im put into a posistion where i have to jump onto a plane and come"
