Congrats to the Pens. The better team won. 4 out of 5 against the Wings and overcoming the 5th game debacle.

Jesus is this hard to take. The NHL is very pleased, I'm sure. What a letdown.

I don't feel too sorry for Hossa and I'm not going to watch Sid with the cup.

The NHL is pleased, of course. We heard nothing but how f*ing great Crosby is, and now we get to hear about it for the next year.

I love the Wings but this is not as hard as I thought. We simply did not deserve to win and they did. Good for the Penns. A team that almost scrapped and sold and here you go, two SCF in a row and won one of them. That's impressive.

I agree. It is good to see them enjoy this. I thought it would be awful...but it really isn't that bad.

Detroit didn't lose. Someone else did. The team that I root for - the team that I cheer for - has not lost the Stanley Cup Final to the Penguins. Whoever presented that pathetic play tonight, that's not my team, and I'm fairly sure it's not yours either. Win or lose, I simply can not envision my team to give up like the other team that played today, so I'm not too emotional - on the contrary, I am completely apathetic to the events that have unfolded today.

- On a side note, I offer my sincere congratulations to the Penguins - it takes a lot to be able to achieve what they have today.

- Also, as another side note, it is not the result of the Wings that is paramount to me - it is their fighting spirit that I cheer for, not their cups (though that is fairly important as well )

Anyone calling a fan here that's pissed off and upset can eat a dick. We are all very passionate about our team.

The Pens deserve to win this cup. They beat us 4 out of 5 games when nobody said they could (including me). Props to them.

Also I think the crowd at JLA is actually being pretty classy, by chearing players that are skating around with the cup.

Any Pens fans on this board, congratulations. Your team deserves it.

In regard to the wings, absolutely no excuse. Pathetic effort. The only reason the wings controlled the 3rd period like they did was because the Pens had a 2-goal lead and it was virtually a 20 minute penalty kill. Absolutely pathetic play by Stuart tonight. He cost us this game singlehandedly.

You can not blame Osgood for this. He stood on his head for 7 games, only reason this team got as far as they did from day 1 of the playoffs was Osgood. Sure, 2nd goal he may have been able to stop, he didn't, can't expect to win a game from 1 goal and only 20 minutes of quality play from the people infront of you.

Congrats to the Pens, they came to play and came out guns blazing from the start. Can't say the same from our team. Although, they had a decent season and a decent run, too bad, hopefully we'll grab it back next year.

As far as the Hossa argument is concerned, I'd like to see him leave the team, use the cap space to bring in some other guy that is willing to play his heart out in the playoffs.

The 2nd goal was the D's fault. Osgood wasn't setup. Who was the idiot who passed it right up the center to Talbit? It wasn't Osgood. Osgood was awesome this post season. He deserves tons of respect. Osgood didn't lose us the cup. Our sloppy play lost us the cup...to many turn overs. To me the MVP of the playoffs is a tie between Osgood and Fluery. Don't hang this on Osgood.

I've already done that, i'm not hating on osgood as a person I think he's a great goaltender I just think he's reached his limit and I would like for him to leave on a better note then this. But as you wish, lookback to my previous post before the last one when I bagged on the ref's. Done and Done.
