Also, does anyone know if we can bring coolers and what not to the outdoor viewing party, or do we have to purchase beverages from Hockeytown?
Thanks, and GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grand Circus is probably the closest station, and that let's out near the south/southwest entrance to Comerica. My usual plan is to park at Greektown Casino, and take that station around. However, since they have the trains moving the opposite way now, you'll have to go around most of the downtown area before you get to your stop.
I'm hoping to get a spot on that gravel lot along Woodward just norht of I-75. Harry's is also a good place to park, and enjoy some beverages beforehand. They (usually) have free parking, provided you go inside and buy a few barley pops. http://www.harrysdetroit.com/

How does the patio party work? Can you just walk up and set up a chair? I don't want to get there at 5pm tonight and be SOL

430-500
They have tables out in the lawn area but they also have a lawn area you bring your own seats
The line is long
I don't know if you have to wait in line if you want to go out back on the lawn. We sat in the restaurant and had a guy and his son and girlfriend offer to buy us our food and drinks if they could sit with us. I told him sure and it was a good night.
To be honest, the lawn was PACKED though with lots of people. It was fun being inside the restaurant
I might be leaving work early to go there

From those pictures, it looks like that screen will be too small if we have to sit/stand anywhere near the back of the patio. Might change directions and head to Old Shillelagh
Work is dragging on soooo much today, I want to get this party started!

No from Game 6
The lawn pic was before the thousands of people got there
The look out the window was the "lawn"
Good times

I'll be keeping my black & gold ass at home tonight. If the Pens win, I don't want to be anywhere near a mass of drunk Wings fans.
