Plus Tom Preissing and a fifth-round pick. that's a ******* horrible move by the kings! not only is smyth's contract expensive for what you get in return, but quincey was their best d-man down the stretch last season along with doughty. and preissing is no slouch. but of course i have an undying hatred for smyth. always have, always will. captain canada my ass. *****! though now the wings can trade lebda to the avs for quincey and it all works out right?? Furthermore, they dealt from a position of strength for an area of weakness. Smyth is a great character guy for a team that needs some veteran leadership and a few goals. Hard to dislike this move. Colorado just got better, and the Kings really blew that one. Too bad. I like the Kings and I liked having Quincey there where I could still root for him. Pretty boy? Smyth? Ew.
