I know there would have to be weight adjustments for some of these to happen, but they all can be done pending on agreement of course. At first GSP/Silva looked the most appealing to me, but after a while, I'm starting to think that Lyoto Machida vs Anderson Silva would be crazier, and considering it would potentially be for the light-heavyweight title... Anderson Silva holding both belts (also middleweight) would be unreal.

Of those matches the only one that is going to happen for sure is Evans/Jackson, and that's going to be at UFC 107.

I pick Machida/Silva... You?

Fedor/Brock is ions ahead of any other fight for me... would love to see Fedor finish him off and watch all the new age MMA fans crawl back into their holes.

Machida/Silva would be interesting as well but will never happen because they've already said they won't fight each other... so we'll never know.

GSP/Silva for me would be a nightmare, I'd be scared s***less for GSP for a month prior to the fight. Not that I don't believe in him... but Silva is just too dangerous HE should be the one going up in weight, not GSP. I could watch GSP beat on BJ forever though :)

I'd love CroCop vs. Arlovski or Alexander Emelianenko vs. anyone worth while

I would also love to see Barnett/Fedor eventually happen

DITTO

I just can't imagine GSP and Silva finding a weight they'd both be comfortable with.

But all those listed fights would be great to watch.

I agree with the thread starter. Machida Vs Silva would be EPIC. Brock and Fedor would be awesome as well, but light heavyweights are so much more exciting to watch. Two huge guys like Brock and Fedor would just not be as exciting in my eyes. Both would be amazing fights. But Machida/Silva would be the fight of the century.

I've never seen anything that said they refuse to fight each other. That would make no sense. Not like they're related. In fact, Machida isn't even a brazilian by blood like Silva is. But if they did say that, hopefully they change their mind.

I did see Anderson Silva say this in an interview, how they train together and are close friends... But if it comes down to it being for the title, they could put their friendship aside and meet in the octagon... and have the fight of the century!

They have openly said that they will not be fighting each other. Silva has expressed interest in fighting at heavyweight for a "challenge", I guess he feels there's not much left at 185 or 205.

Two of those will never happen. Lyoto vs Anderson because they have already stated they are like brothers and will not fight each other. They both have the same manager, and he says they will not do it for less than $100 million. Dana will not give up that kind of money for 1 fight. And Brock vs Fedor, because Fedor does not like signing long-term contracts, which is the only kind of contracts Dana likes to sign. Personally though I would love to see Emilienenko vs Lesnar so Fedor can armbar him in about 2 minutes and kill the Brock hype.

Fedor is a small to average sized LHW. 6' in shoes and a chubby 225-230. If he went easy on the ice cream he could trim to a basic 205-210 and then cut to 185 for a weigh in and not lose much if any muscle mass. But a ripped Fedor would be weird and probably a bit scary to see...
