eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted September 9, 2009 Ok, to counter several votes for Malkin... HENRIK ZETTERBERG. Never mind that both should be ahead of Crosby anyway.

Zetts 236 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 I don't even know why I'm bothering, it looks pretty clear that Malkin is going to win. But, once again, Zetterberg.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 Holy s***, I guess this is pretty unanimous. I thought I was going to open this and see Zetterberg, Brodeur, Luongo AND Malkin all with close numbers, but Malkin's running away. I'm going to have to say Malkin too though. Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 Malkin Ovechkin Zetterberg Crosby Datsyuk Can't be arsed to read the OP, eh? Malkin, and I've got no idea how Crosby ended up in front of him on this one.

JHC, there are 13 pages on this nonsense already. Go and look at 10 mock fantasy drafts. You'll get your answer right there. I was just throwing in my .02 on the top 5. After that, the choices get harder.

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted September 11, 2009 Voting is officially over with 21 votes total. Malkin blew this one away with 17 votes, or 81% of the total votes. Zetterberg came in a close second with 2 votes (9.5%) Getzlaf and Chara came in third with one vote each (4.7%) I have to say that I did not expect Malkin to come in so late, but it seems that once Datsyuk was out of the picture, people were willing to concede that Malkin is next best. 1) Ovechkin 2) Lidstrom 3) Crosby 4) Datsyuk 5) Malkin Now for 6th best voting. Who do you think is the best player in the league not counting any of Ovechkin, Lidstrom, Crosby, Datsyuk, or Malkin? The voting is going to be a bit tough from here on out I think, but I think I'm going to throw my vote in for Kocalchuk.

GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted September 11, 2009 Zetterberg. Had a bit of an off year last year, but a great playoff yet again. I would have personally ranked him ahead of Datsyuk, but for some reason, people here disagreed with that decision.
