So the offseason is killing me, and I thought it might be fun to post a poll of the most "irritating" posters at LGW.
Most of the posters I list I personally really enjoy and go out of my way to read their posts, but there is no question they can rub people the wrong way. This is meant as playful ribbing, but if the moderators feel this is a bad idea, please take it down.

If there is a flamewar going, these posters are most likely to be in the thick of it -- you might call them the lice "spice" of the forum, and are good for keeping things interesting

Polls only give 10 options, so I am looking for the top 10.

Rules:
1) No other team fans: must be a Red Wing fan (so Dan Bylsma does not count)
2) Must be a prolific poster with history here
3) Keep it fun - versus mean and nasty

But if UKWing and Skacore and GMR are not on the list.. then i doubt i would be either.

With only 10 options, we would have to keep the pro-goon guys limited to the cream of the crop.
GMR and you could be considered cross-country irratators so could qualify outside of the goon squad.
Micah is in a category all his own.
Skacore & UK_wing are more rude and insulting, but E_S_A_D rises to the top of that group for me personally by virtue of numerous references to his season tickets.

All the people you named always have something productive to say, and like you, I go out of my way to read their posts. I can't think of them right now, usually only when I'm posting or reading a thread, but these two stand out.

Mindfly is rather negative, his name is gross, and he had that gross avatar of some gross kid and then one of a gross clown.

GMRWings1983 scares me. I'm afraid that if I post my opinion on something it'll be wrong, and he'll tear me apart with facts and stats that prove me wrong, then yell at me for being stupid.

Regardless whether LGW posters are irritating or not, they almost always know their hockey.

I used to not like Eva too much, but I really can't see this place being complete without him. He was like the only other person that supported Kopecky besides me, which is probably was allowed me to look past the statistics and see the good.
There might be one other person that I don't like, but I can't remember. Its a lot easier to remember the positive folks.

Pretty much everyone I nominated I really like (many of them never actually irritate me), and even the most irritating would make the forum less interesting if they ever left.

I get annoyed whenever a poster goes out of their way to defend Crosby on a Wings board -- GordieSid&Ted, Shoreline and others are guilty of this, but the worst is Nightfall --I swear he has an alert that goes off on his pager whenever someone bashes Crosby and the Penguins. I'd nominate him, but not sure if he is "prolific" enough.

I'm thinking the following are locks (in alphabetical order):

I figured this would get relegated to the Water Cooler, but should have at least posted it in the general forum first to get it noticed

I haven't been on here long enough to know many s/n's but ShanahanMan and GordieSid&Ted are very argumentative. At least some people have a point to prove in their arguments...

Oh Lord. I've LONG since lost count.

Honestly, the majority of my posts that have been removed are the pages and pages of "GOAL!!!!111" or "ZEEEE!!!!" or "%*#!!!!" in the gdt's. But that's not what I really consider irritating. I don't mind all the excitement and digust that a game brings, it's hockey after all. I just try to weed out the 16 pages of it after a goal, in case anyone was reading along from the beginning.

The most irritating thing for me is blatant disregard to a request from the mods. i.e. Keeping discussions on track, take it to the pm's, etc.

the people that bother me the most are the ones that point out my s***ty writing style...and the ones that go on crazy political rants....drake marcus i gotta call you out..you know crazy amounts about the sport and i usually get down with what you gotta say but s***! you and the other political posters drive me crazy...but that is just me (i get down with politics like i get down with baseball: i don't.)...but i do like your posts normally dude
