CenterIce 83 Report post Posted September 9, 2009 ESPN Insider: The only Dany Heatley that still appears to be alive is one that send him to the Rangers for Marc Staal and Brandon Dubinsky, the Ottawa Citizen reports. There was also a trade that would send him to San Jose for Joe Thornton, the Sharks turned it down. The Blackhawks are also inquiring about Heatley, and the Devils possibly get into a three-way deal to help Heatley get to San Jose. But it looks like Heatley might show up to a golf outing with the team in two days, which might signal that GM Bryan Murray's self-imposed trade deadline has been reached.
